Choi Sara, the representative figure in
para alpine skiing (21, Korea National Sport University), along with her guide,
Jung Sanghyun (21, Korea Para Ski Association), secured the championship title
in the FIS (International Ski Federation) 23/24 season alpine skiing event by
earning a total of 240 points. The points were accumulated from the races held
throughout the season, allowing Choi to claim victory in the Vision Impaired
category. She tied with British athlete Menna Fitzpatrick, placing them both as
joint winners. This marks the first-ever World Cup event victory in para-alpine
skiing for Korea. The awards ceremony took place during the 2024 Italy Sella
