PyeongChang 2018 Legacy

Established Bandabi Sports Center (up to 150 sites)

  • An annual training camp organized and hosted by the PyeongChang Legacy Foundation to nurture young winter sports talents from the snowless countries or where winter sports are not widely practiced. The project may support NPCs to identify and develop potential winter sports athletes who have the desire to compete in the sports. Para division was first introduced in 2011 and has been an ongoing project since then.
  • Programs: Training program(Para snowboard, Para alpine skiing, Para Cross-country skiing), PyeongChang 2018 Olympic and Paralympic Games venue tour, Korean culture program, and other recreational activities.

Bandabi Sports Center

Increased the number of lifetime sports class (up to 1,300)

Expanding the deployment of lifetime sports instructors (up to 1,200)
