ESTABLISHMENT OF MEMBER ASSOCIATIONS
- Korea Paralympic Committee(KPC), by law Art 54 (Establishment of member associations)
- KPC can have its member associations in other cities, provinces and abroad to perform its duties.
MAIN FUNCTIONS
- Decide fundamental policies on sports for people with impairments in each region
- Develop and supervise respective associations and sports associations for people with impairments
- Encourage people with impairments to participate in sports activities by hosting or supporting Sports for All festivals
- Train and dispatch sports teams to Korea Paralympic Games
- Conduct researches on sports for people with impairments and spread sports in suburb areas.
- Develop sports instructors for people with impairments
- Develop special schools and physical education for people with impairments
- Establish and manage sports facilities
OFFICE ORGANIZATION
- Secretary general is appointed by the president in agreement with the governing board.
- Structure, organization, and duties are different from cities and provinces
